IFMA Youth World Championships 2022

MUAYTHAI | Keith Margaret Balinas, Jan Brix Ramiscal and Edel Ali Ngina captured their second gold medals after ruling their respective waikru events at the IFMA Youth World Championships 2022 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Balinas and Ramiscal topped the 12-13 female and male youth categories, respectively, while Ngina ruled the 14-15 male youth division.

The pair of Balinas and Ramiscal previously bagged the gold in the mae mai muay event. Ngina also won a mint in his age class together with Clark Fattit.

Alyssa Kylie Mallari placed first in the 16-17 group to add to her silver in the mae mai muay, while Jasmine Dagame ended up second in the 14-15 division.

The waikru finals continue today with combat bronze medalist Mara Luz Dagame and Johnden Aldana Jr., silver winner in mae mai muay, ready to take the spotlight.

Meanwhile, Ramiscal, Fattit and Jasmine Dagame will all see action in the gold medal round of the combat competitions.
