NIKE BOXING SHOES

NIKE BOXING SHOES
Nike is a dominant force in the boxing world, prized for shoes that prioritize lightweight agility, lock-down support, and sleek design. Nike Boxing shoes splits into the featherweight Machomai series for speed and the premium HyperKO line for elite ankle stabilization and power.

Nike HyperKO Series
The HyperKO is widely regarded as the gold standard for competitive and professional fighters.

HyperKO 3.0
The highly anticipated 3.0 bridges the gap between the original and 2.0 iterations. It brings back the classic fit and feel of the original while incorporating modern design tweaks. (Soon to be available in the Philippines by the second half of the year).

  • Weight & Feel: Lighter than the bulky 2.0s, weighing roughly 12 oz each.
  • Durability: Addresses the sole and lace wear-and-tear issues of previous versions.
  • Support: Features a forefoot strap that locks the heel into place, offering an incredibly secure fit.
  • Pricing: Ranges roughly from P14,000-P15,000 depending on the model tier.

HyperKO 1.0 & 2.0
  • HyperKO 1.0: Often called a "boot legend". It is super lightweight (10.5 oz) but is known to be very narrow.
  • HyperKO 2.0: Known for exceptional, sock-like comfort and a durable sole, though it runs heavier.

Nike Machomai Series
The Machomai is the go-to line for amateur boxers and elite fighters who emphasize foot speed, lateral quickness, and breathability.

Machomai 3
  • Weight : Featherlight construction (around 256 grams or 9 oz).
  • Breathability: Features upgraded zonal mesh panels that minimize moisture absorption, keeping your feet dry during long sparring sessions.
  • Traction: Uses a nimble, flexible gum-rubber outsole that provides excellent grip and traction in the ring.
  • Lacing: Upgraded eyelets reduce lace pressure, allowing the shoe to fit like an extension of your foot.
  • Pricing: Typically priced around  (approx. ₱6,000 to ₱10,000).
Buying Considerations
  • Fit: Nike boxing shoes tend to run narrow. It is universally recommended to go up a half-size, especially if you have wider feet or intend to wear thick athletic socks.
  • Sole Type: Models like the Machomai have thinner, more flexible soles designed exclusively for the canvas ring. Wearing them on abrasive surfaces like concrete will cause rapid balding and wear.
